FEATURES AT A GLANCE
Caring for your ring
Bands and rings made up of hardwood can last for as long as a metal one with proper care. However, proper care can help to ensure that these rings in good condition. Our rings are always sealed with a waterproof epoxy resin or treated with a waterproof layer, and strengthened with metals to ensure they last longer.
- It is best to avoid prolonged exposure to moisture, chlorinated water, and chemicals. We recommend removing it during harsh activities such as cleaning with heavyduty chemicals or heavy work outs.
- Bringing your ring into the shower or wearing while washing up occasionally should generally be fine.
- If your ring has an exposed wooden element, ensure it is dried using a soft cloth as soon as possible after exposure to moisture.
- Do not leave your ring in direct sunlight or exposure or in hot and humid environments.
Cleaning your ring
Our rings are sealed in a waterproof epoxy coating, and any hardwood inlays are protected in an epoxy resin coating which means there is no need to use polish. However over time there may be a build up of dirt on your ring. Here are some easy steps for cleaning your ring:
Step 1 - You can clean and remove dirt or dust from hardwood bands and rings with a dry soft microfiber cloth.
Step 2 - Using fresh water to clean off any stubborn dirt build up should also be suitable, so long as the ring is dried thoroughly with a soft towel.
Step 3 - If your ring has a metal element, lightly damp a cloth in a solution of water and a few drops of mild soap and wipe away any dirt build up.
