Caring for your ring

Unlike other metal rings such as platinum or gold that require special care, Damascus and Stainless Seel rings or bands require very little maintenance due to their strength, scratch resistance, and durability. However, here are a few tips to lengthen the life of your ring.

- Keep them away from harsh chemicals typically used in cleaning products, and from chlorine and salt water. However occasional exposure shold be fine, as long as the ring is rinsed thoroughly with fresh water.

- Do not apply severe pressure and remove it during particularly physical activities.

- When not worn, we recommend keeping your rings in our provided soft velvet pouch to protect them from the elements.

Cleaning your ring

Over time there may be a build up of dirt on your ring which is very easily cleanable. Here are the steps for cleaning your Damascus Steel or Stainless Steel ring:

Step 1 - Take a bowl of warm water and add a few drops of mild soap to it.

Step 2 - Wash the rings in the bowl for a minute or so, then rinse with clean water to restore the ring to its usual lustre. 

Step 3 - After washing with clean water, dry the ring gently with a soft towel.

Step 4 - If there are dirt and grime in the grooves of the metal, use a soft toothbrush to help clean it out, with the help of toothpaste if needed.
