Over a long period of time and in extremely rare cases, your meteorite ring may develop small superficial rust spots which can easily be removed by following these steps:
What you'll need - A soft-bristled toothrbush, WD-40 and a soft cloth
Step 1 - Spray a small amount of WD-40 to a soft cloth and wipe the meteorite area thoroughly, focusing on the rust where visible.
Step 2 - Gentle scrub a soft-bristled toothrbush on the areas of rust on the ring.
Step 3 - Leave a thin layer of WD-40 on the meteorite overnight, allowing it to absorb into the ring.
Step 4 - Scrub the rust away with a soft-bristled toothbrush, and repeat if necessary to remove any remaining rust.
While this may seem like a lot of work to keep the ring looking brilliant, wearers feel that it’s worth it - after all it’s a small price to pay to have something that’s literally out of this world.
