I received one of these rings as a present a couple of months ago and adore the look and feel of the ring. The black hexagonal shape and sandstone centrepiece are beautiful, and the ring has a wonderful weight and solidity to it.
Furthermore, upon realising that the ring was the wrong size, getting a replacement in the right size was quick and easy, paying a small fee but keeping the original.
However, I have some concerns over the quality of the materials. I don't know exactly how the black effect is applied, but it is NOT the actual colour of the metal; instead it is some kind of thin patina applied to the surface, with the metal itself having the copper colour visible in the centre.
Unfortunately, on one ring I quickly noticed this rubbing-off, and it has progressed from just the edges of the hexagonal pattern being highlighted, to actually wearing off the paint on the surface of the shapes in some places.
Wear and tear is to be expected of course, but the speed of it is a little concerning, as another ring I have owned for over a decade features about as much colour wear as this does after just a few months!

Nice design, but has a very plasticy finish. The blue is hard to see unless the lighting is just right.
Thanks for your review Renae! We use a clear and polished epoxy resin to protect the inlay for our Chrono designs. We use a high-quality scratch-resistant polymer instead of ordinary plastic for all our rings. I hope this makes sense!

I bought this ring for my boyfriend for our 1 year, i saw the pictures and it was just gorgeous and he had been wanting more hand jewelry, so it was perfect. it is even more perfect in person, i can’t wait to give it to him. The packaging for it is amazing, i love the box and then the little ring “holder,” not really sure what to call it, but it’s so cute and just adds so much more character to everything. The ring is so beautifully made and is just so great overall. i would highly recommend, if you’re thinking about it, buy it!!!

I've purchased 2 chrono rings in blue to be mine and my soon to be husband wedding rings and we couldn't be happier.
We've been looking for the perfect wedding ring for quite some time as we wanted to move as further away as possible from the normal (basic) gold or silver wedding rings. We've come across The Ring Shop by chance and we fell in love with the designs and we knew we had found what we were looking for.
We did our research (as we see more and more scams on the internet each day and we didn't want to order the rings and get some piece of plastic instead) but it all seemed legit and we took the chance and we couldn't have been more positively surprised.
The shipping was super fast and smooth and the website provides a good tracking of the parcel. In one week after the purchased we got the rings at our place and they are even more stunning than the photos on the website.
I actually had to hide them away as we wanted to start using the rings right away but we're only getting married in April. Now we're both counting the days until we can slide these beauties into each others finger.
I love the ring! Once I saw the "Archer" ring, I knew I wanted something with this particular design, but in warmer, earthy colors, and that's what "Elkwood" provides. Mine came with a slightly cooler tones compared to the pictures on the website, however I still enjoy it.
As mentioned in other review, the ring is very light, so that's something I have to get used to. The packaging is great as well and it can be noticed that a lot of thought and effort was put into it.
Only a small 'mistake' solely on my side is that I ordered the ring a tiny bit too big, despite following the sizing guide, which has happened on different stores as well (guess I'll need to wrap the string/floss tigther next time :P ). While the wrong size was my fault, I like that I've been provided with a card on which I can write down the sizes and notes for future purchases. I'm well aware and glad for the resizing service, but I don't want to part with the ring hahah.
The rings exteremely quality and elegant although there is one important case. Sizing... You must make sure you order the right one for your finger. Mine was oversized. I resized it by putting silver ring under it and put a writing on it. Overall it worths the prize
